OK Dinghy class launches 2021 ART OF RACING Euro Series

Following the cancellation of all major OKDIA championships for two years, the freezing of the World Ranking list and the postponement of the Euro League, it has been decided to run a one-off Euro Series to cover the major events during 2021.

The series will include:
• International Regatta, Garda
• Kieler Woche
• Autumn Cup, Bandol
• All national championships in Europe from July to October

Each event will be allocated points based on grading, with National Championships graded as 1 and the three international regattas graded as 1.5. A sailor’s four best results will count.

Art of Racing has kindly agreed to be the naming sponsor of the series and the main prize for the winner of the series will be a new Art of Racing boom. OKDIA is also looking for sponsors for other prizes.

The purpose: mainly to have some fun, make some media promotion of the events and provide some focus, incentive and encouragement to attend one or two more regattas.

The next international event in the series will be Kieler Woche, with full media coverage, while several National Championships are also happening soon as well.
